Privacy
What this site and the dev log's mailing list keep about you, and how to have it removed. The short version: very little, and whenever you like.
The site
hollowprotocol.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics, trackers or scripts. It is served through Cloudflare, which sees visits the way any web host does; we don't collect or keep anything about who reads it.
The dev log mailing list
If you sign up for the dev log, we keep:
- your email address, and the name you gave, if any;
- when you signed up and when you confirmed, and the IP address you confirmed from, as the record that you asked to be on the list;
- whether an email to you bounced, so we stop sending to an address that doesn't work.
We use it only to send you each new dev log post. It is never sold, shared or used for anything else. The list lives on our own server. The emails are delivered by Brevo, an email service in the EU, which handles your address only to deliver them.
The emails carry no tracking: no hidden images to see whether you opened them, and no rewritten links to see what you clicked.
Leaving, and your data
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works in one click. The page it opens also lets you download everything we keep about you, or wipe it for good. If you'd rather ask, write to [email protected].
